2025 Spring Educational Meeting

ILABB is proud to be hosting the 2025 Spring Educational Meeting. This will be an engaging educational session featuring insightful lectures and interactive roundtable discussions led by blood bank experts from across Illinois and beyond. This event will provide a valuable opportunity for attendees to deepen their knowledge of transfusion medicine, exchange ideas with colleagues, and explore current challenges and advancements in the field. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the industry, this meeting will offer a dynamic forum for learning and collaboration. In addition to the educational sessions, the 2025 Spring ILABB Meeting will feature an exhibitor fair, providing attendees with the opportunity to connect with industry representatives and explore the latest products, technologies, and services in transfusion medicine.

The meeting is intended to span a full business day and will include catered breakfast and lunch. This year, we are waiving the cost of registration for students. The itinerary will be fully in-person, with no live remote viewing available, but out of consideration of accessibility, we intend to record all lectures for viewing by members. In addition, we will be offering CE credits through PACE (final agenda pending, but tentatively 6.0 contact hours).

Registration will be required. Please submit your registration info here. Once you have submitted registration, please submit payment below. Attendees and their payments will be manually registered by the ILABB executive committee, so you will receive follow-up communication if no payment is submitted. ILABB can accept a deferred cash payment at the meeting, but only at the regular (non-early-bird) rate.

Registration rates (Early bird rate ends on 4/30/25):

  • Attending Physician: $130 early bird, $150 regular registration

  • MLS (including SBB): $85 early bird, $100 regular registration

  • Resident Physician: $40 early bird, $50 regular registration

  • Students (including MLS, medical): Free! No need to submit payment.
